CATAN+ Challenge

CATAN Studio is hosting a special qualifier for the CATAN United Kingdom National Championship Tournament at UKGE 2024.

The CATAN+ Challenge is a 3-game event that showcases expansions and variants of traditional CATAN. There will be three games, scored using the CATAN tournament rules. The top player in this event will advance to the Championship tournament on Sunday.

The games:

1) CATAN + Harbormaster: The Harbormaster variant adds the Harbormaster card to the game, rewarding the player who builds settlements on the most ports.

2) CATAN + Cologne 2018 World Championship Scenario: Players jointly build the Cologne Cathedral. The player who contributes the most earns extra Victory Points.

3) CATAN + Surprise!: You will find out the rules for this game at the event.

10:00 am - Check-in

10:30 am - CATAN + Harbormaster

1:00 pm - CATAN + Cologne

3:00 pm - Surprise!

ELIGIBILITY: 

As this is a qualifier event for the UK CATAN National Championship, all participants must be residents of the United Kingdom and be 18+ years of age by 2 June 2024. Please contact Catan Studio at op@catanstudio.com if you have questions regarding these policies.

The winner will win a guaranteed seat at the 2024 CATAN United Kingdom National Championship Tournament on Sunday, 2 June. 

The 2024 CATAN United Kingdom National Champion will be sent to the 2025 CATAN World Championship, location and dates TBD.
