Spokes is a fast-paced kaleidoscopic cycling game for 1-6 players, that plays in about 30 minutes. It's a racing game, but instead of cards or dice it uses a clever spokes replacement mechanic, designed for fast gameplay. Each players turn not only moves them around the velodrome track, but also changes the track for all other players, leading to jostling for first place, and cyclists battling over intertwined paths. It's a really ingenious design from first time designer Bert Hardeman, which got it shortlisted for the Cardboard Edison award, and is available for the first time here at the UKGE.
