THIS IS A WEIRD ONE And nope... we don't mean the art... but the mechanics. The Strange Forgeries Of Mr. S.C.Rheber is a drawing game, but don't underestimate it -> this ain't no party game, but a logic puzzle that will rack your brain. In fact one player will cover an unconventional role—crafting a rule of the game!

Here 2-6 players (the Collectors) will purchase art from their Gallerist. However some of the paintings are fakes crafted by the talented forger Simon Charles Rheber. The Collectors will master their inductive reasoning to determine which painting is one of the strange forgeries of Mr. S.C.Rheber.

During the game, 2-6 Collectors will produce many drawings, and one Gallerist will secretly tell them whether it follows the secret rule that they had invented at the beginning of the game, aka whether the drawings are Originals or Fakes. At the end of the game, the Collectors will put their knowledge to the test, and try to guess whether their opponents' displayed drawings follow the rule or not. Mistakes determine the winner, so they’ll want to try to make as few as possible. So to win the game, it is more important to know the rule better than your opponents than to guess it.

The game includes 2 expansions that adds more strategy: the Art Critic, a semi-coop, and the Inspector a fully competitive GM-vs-all variant.
