Quoridor Simul

Simultaneous Exhibitions (aka ‘Simul’) are a well known concept from Chess. A strong player, typically a Grandmaster, plays multiple games at the same time against different opponents.

In this event, you can book your ticket to take part in a Quoridor Simul against Stephen Cairns.

Stephen has won three in-person Mind Sports Olympiad tournaments in Quoridor as well as winning multiple medals for online play.

The Simul event is open to players of all levels, and will be run by the team behind the Mind Sports Olympiad and PlayStrategy on their stand in Hall 1.

You can come and learn the game at the stand before the event.

Any player who can win against Stephen Cairns will receive free entry to the Mind Sports Olympiad Hive tournament in London in August (precise date TBA).

All of the ticket sales, less VAT, will be donated to the 2026 UKGE Charities.

You will need a valid UKGE entry ticket to attend this event.
