Burrowdale and Zillertal now on Kickstarter

If you like accessible, nature-themed games that are easy to learn and only take half an hour to play, you’re in luck. Walnut Games are bringing two new games to Kickstarter this November. In Burrowdale you’ll be scheming and planning to get as much food as possible for your bunny family for the winter, by building and changing tunnel routes and moving veg and hay along those routes to score as many points as you can.

In Zillertal you’re a mountain photographer travelling between Alpine villages looking to fulfil tasks and contracts in the villages you pass through. Add to the ever-changing mountain landscape and complete tasks based on what you can see in the landscape. Zillertal is inspired by the Austrian mountain region of the same name, and each of the village cards is named after a real village in the area. Play solo or with up to four players.

Both Zillertal and Burrowdale featured in the Playtest Zone at this year’s Games Expo.

Both games are designed by Ian Walton (Ukiyo, Take The Kingdom, Nuuk) and feature beautiful illustrations from Joe Shawcross (Dinosaur World, The Fox Experiment). Follow the link to find out more!
