Get Started with Sculpting

Join Siege Studios for an in-depth, one-hour masterclass focused on introducing the core skills and techniques needed to begin sculpting on miniatures. This session will show  you the tools and materials commonly used for sculpting, including different putties, mixing ratios, and how to prepare miniatures ready for additional sculpted details. The team will also demonstrate how to make some of your own sculpting tools and cover essential knife safety when cutting and handling putty. You’ll then learn the basics of working with putty, including shaping, handling, and using a variety of sculpting tools effectively. To finish the session, the team will demonstrate how to sculpt armour gussets and, if time allows, additional details such as beards, helping you understand how these techniques can be applied to your own projects.
