The Haunted Ten Bells Public House

Death stalks the streets of Spittle-Fields — an elusive killer committing horrible crimes. A century past, dread gripped the teeming slum of the Tenements. Women were savagely murdered by a shadowy figure who vanished into the fog. The murders stopped, but the killer was never found. Now a fresh murder awakens fears that the Ripper has returned.

The ghost of Mari Kell, the last and most savaged victim in the Ripper's killing spree, has been seen many times in the one hundred years since her murder. She haunts the alleys of the Tenements, where she once lived, and the Ten Bells Public House, where she once sought solace in a half-pint of ale. Now the party must enter the Ten Bells to discover if Mari's story gives a clue to the identity of the Ripper…

This scenario is Part I of Return of the Ripper, an urban horror investigation adventure for DCC RPG. Three linked adventures will run across the weekend, but each part can be played independently.
