TCG Psychology: Building Confidence

This interactive workshop is designed to support TCG players of all levels, from aspiring to experienced, who are looking to build confidence in their TCG ability. Led by Dr. Miles Cassidy-Rice (Certified Mental Performance Consultant, Sport Psychologist, and Competitive Player) and Dr. Britni Cassidy-Rice (Education design specialist and TCG enthusiast) this workshop combines professional psychological insights with educational delivery.

In this workshop, TCG players will have a hands on session where attendees will engage in practical exercises to understand how confidence is built and maintained. By the end of the workshop, attendees will be able to :

• Identify sources of confidence using past successes and strengths
• Demonstrate cognitive reframing techniques to prepare for tournaments
• Construct a pre-game routine to consistently enter rounds ready to perform
• Review performance effectively to maintain confidence
