Surviving the night

You all are staying at a tavern on the way to a nearby city while a storm blows over. 

Maybe for trade, adventure or something else. It doesn't matter when a knock at the door. 

The door swings open and a man in a thick leather coat drips on the floor. He steps and another before collapsing to the floor. it was not water dripping from his coat.
