Carnevale is a small scale skirmish game focused on freedom of movement combined with brutal combat and impressive magical abilities. Jump from rooftop to rooftop to hunt your opponent's gang, or dive deep into the canals to drown your enemies.

In 1793, a catastrophe of biblical proportions hit the Earth. Tearing the very heavens asunder, the Rent in the sky opened, and eldritch magic flowed into the world. Italy was sunk and Europe wracked by gargantuan tidal waves; mysteriously, only one place was spared: Venice. In the years since, Venice has flourished, becoming a beacon of light in the darkness of the new world. The Rent casts its baleful gaze down onto La Serenissima, projecting a permanent eerie glow onto the city. Some harness the power of the Rent for their own goals - the Doctors of the Ospedale are one such faction, and through wondrous creations, the people of Venice can hope for a better future. 
Celebrating their achievements at the World's Faire, the Doctors present a plethora of new inventions for the people of Venice to revel in: from powered mech suits to exotic beasts that have been tamed and 'improved'.

There are others that would use the magic of the Rent for their own hedonistic perversions. The nobility of Venice, bored of their mundane existence, seek ever greater pleasures. This often leads to Masquerata - a truly horrific scene of mindless murder that lasts until the bloodletting has grown dull. Their next target seems to be the World's Faire itself, but the Doctors are prepared...

This box contains everything that two players will need to dip their toes into the fetid canals of Carnevale. Prepare yourself to swim, row, climb and jump your way into the World's Faire to foil the Doctor's nefarious plans for the citizens of Venice. In Carnevale, you can defeat your enemies by shoving them from rooftops, drowning them in the canals or engaging them in a duel, along with a plethora of other fashions, as this game offers fully three-dimensional gameplay in a narrative skirmish game.

Contained within are 2 small gangs - the Patricians and the Doctors. There is a full 48-page rulebook explaining the rules and scenarios of the game. Everything in this set is designed to get you playing quickly, including plastic miniatures, through to the push-together cardboard scenery, fold-out play mat, dice, quick reference cards for characters, rules, and several scenarios to help teach the basics of the game.

• 8 Plastic Characters: Both the Patricians and Doctors have four characters unique to this box. Each miniature is beautifully detailed and contained on a hard plastic sprue.
• Cardboard Scenery: Terrain is important in Carnevale, so we’re providing you with loads! 3 buildings, 7 obstacles, a bridge, and even a gondola! There’s also a double-sided 2’x2’ fold-out paper mat to set up your game easily.
• 48-Page Rulebook, Dice, Range Ruler, & Quick Reference Cards: This gorgeously presented book has the full up-to-date rules for the game and is accompanied by stunning artwork. Besides the Rulebook, you'll also receive Dice, Range Ruler, Quick Reference Cards, and tokens.

Miniatures supplied unpainted and unassembled. This kit will require cleaning and assembly. Plastic Miniatures will need to be assembled using plastic glue. Miniatures supplied with circular plastic bases, cobblestone bases sold separately

It is 2679. Across the war-torn colonies of mankind, organised crime is on the rise. No gang is more feared than the Eightfold Syndicate. Brutal and relentless, now they want their Crime Lord back. In the vacuum of space, every ship counts and every decision hits hard. No reinforcements. No retreat. Just brutal ship-to-ship combat until one side breaks.
