The Thinning Veil - Cormac Mac Airt on the Other Side of Midnight: A solo dungeon crawl and adventure game set in the world of The Thinning Veil, featuring Cormac Mac Airt, High King of Inis Fael!

The King has disappeared! So where has he gone, and why? In this game you'll pick up the sword as legendary High King Cormac Mac Airt, to journey to the Other Side of Midnight. A creature of faerie to whom Cormac has long allegiance is in dire need of help, and only Cormac can be of aid. Travelling through a portal within a burial mound, Cormac finds himself deeply embroiled in a situation that's over his head and beyond his understanding! But when was the life of a King an easy one?

The Blight-lord has arisen from his dank and earthly grave, and the Other Side of Midnight is being poisoned; corrupted by his taint and contagion. This leech-like entity won't stop until there is nothing left to feed on! His servants already walk the Sidhe realms, seeking victims to bolster their ranks and rare magic to fuel their overseer! In the shadow of their wake the Blight-lord is deep rooted, spreading ever greater malign influence throughout the fey realm.

Inspired by Celtic mythology and folklore of the British Isles this is an introductory game with the same general mechanics as the Thinning Veil board game as shown on our YouTube channel and previously detailed as the Dungeon Crawl mode. It is a rogue-like game with narrative trigger points that uses a tile stack system, ensuring a lot of replayability.
