TimeQuest is a family run, indie game studio with a passion for social and puzzle games. Our expertise is based upon our award winning escape room game designs, so it's safe to say that we love games that get you thinking and games that bring people together.

On our second year at UKGE we are not just debuting two new social games - Hot Topic and 100 Ways to Die - but we are also selling a carefully curated selection of tabletop puzzle games and our first published game Present Problem! So come over, say hi, play some games or pick our brains for your next perplexing puzzle game!

100 Ways to Die is a lighthearted game of tall tales.  During the game, Grim needs to collect his tally of souls and yours is up for grabs! However, you should also know that Grim is a ‘friendly’ reaper and has decided to give you the choice of whose he should take today. Play your strongest defence card to win the group over and save your soul.

At the start of each round, Grim will offer you a new, unfortunate, even comical way to lose your soul. Your fate will be decided once all players have revealed their defence card and told their stories. After the count of 3 and in unison, all players must point to the player they believe has given the most unlikely story. It’s your story so get creative.

The loser (most votes) must then discard one of their life souls and draw back up to 3 cards. Play then continues clockwise. When a player has lost all 3 of their souls they are technically out, but may remain in the game as a ‘Spiritual Advisor’ until only 1 player has at least one soul remaining.

The winner is the player with the remaining soul.

Hot Topic is a hot seat challenge where only the coolest minds shine! The aim of the game is simple, give as many correct answers as possible in 30 seconds.

During each round, 6 subjects cards are drawn and placed face up on the board. Players then use their 10 firestones to bet on which topics they consider favourable to them. In turn, players draw a letter from the bag, read it aloud and use their 30 seconds to give as many correct answers as possible. Correct answers must start with the letter drawn and match the subject on the card that the players have placed their firestones on. Players retrieve a firestone from the card for each correct answer give. Retrieved firestones are scored and play continues clockwise. The game continues for the agreed rounds or until a player reaches 30 points.

The winner is whoever has the most points at the end of the game.
