Sinister Fish Games will be selling and showing our new releases for 2026:
Yonder
Our fourth game from Haakon Gaarder, designer and illustrator of Villagers, Streets, and Moon. This long-awaited fantasy worker placement game is as delightful as it is strategic. Featuring workers from five fantasy races with different quirks, resource management, and fulfilment of binding trade deals using unique ships with special abilities. There's a lot to think about, but the basic loop is simple and the game draws you in gradually, building up the combos and chains to a crescendo by the end!
Go Big
A colourful card game you can learn in 1 minute and play with anyone. Play 1-3 like-numbered cards into your display and hope they're still there on your next turn. Sets of high cards score more but they're easier to eliminate with same-sized sets of lower value cards. This is a game of risk and timing, with constant moments of joy and misery: just the way we like it :D
Tulip Season
Try your skills as a tulip farmer in this charming tile laying game. Expand your fields and claim them with windmills while maximising your score from public and private bonus scoring goals. We'll be bringing limited quantities of the special first edition which includes the Bicycles & Drones mini-expansion.
Games
Go Big
Go Big is a fast, funny, and deceptively tactical card game where bluffing, timing, and bold plays are key to victory. Each turn, you’ll play a set of 1–3 matching cards face-up to your display, hoping they survive until your next turn, because only then can you bank them for points!
But nothing is safe in Go Big. Sets can be wiped out by matching sets of lower value cards, so your high-scoring pair of 7s might be crushed by someone’s sneaky pair of 6s or maybe even a pair of 1s. The twist? You only beat the nearest higher set of the same size, creating nail-biting escapes and gleeful takedowns.
Every turn is a risk. Do you play low to survive, or Go Big for maximum points? Watch the table. Anticipate threats. Strike at the perfect moment.
Easy to learn, quick to play, and packed with interaction, Go Big is ideal for families, casual gamers, and game nights where laughter and revenge flow freely.
Tulip Season
At Keukenhof, the festival of tulips in the Netherlands, the tulip fields wash the countryside in gorgeous colour, dotted by the iconic windmills. As a tulip farmer, you want to have the best, most valuable tulip fields. Will you bloom your way to victory?
A very portable & easy to learn tile laying game of tulip fields, greenhouses, & windmills.
Lay one of two dual-coloured tulip tiles on your turn and place windmills to claim fields for points. Bonus end game points are awarded for public scoring goals selected randomly at the start of the game, and you can add another "greenhouse tile" scoring goal during the game that only you can score. Can you maximise its scoring *and* placement bonuses?
Yonder
The ancients have granted you the charter you need to found a settlement on the distant shore. It is up to you to journey there, and turn the boatload of workers, resources, and food that will accompany you on your voyage into a sprawling settlement, and a thriving community.
Yonder is a mid-weight worker placement game. Over the course of five rounds, you will collect resources, gather food, and build your settlement at the edge of a mysterious city. Place your workers carefully, harnessing each species' special power to its fullest extent. Direct the expansion of your settlement, constructing the buildings you’ll need in order to thrive. Dispatch workers to other player's settlements where necessary, trading manpower for the use of their facilities. Meet with a steady stream of envoys, each of whom offer lucrative contracts, and cash in on as many as you can while trying to avoid unsustainable commitments.
