No Short Rests! is a core team of three adventurers producing unique stories and content for TTRPGs and an aspiring independent publisher based in the UK. Our goal is to craft incredible stories into products that are as accessible to pick-up-and-play as possible. We are lifelong RPG fans, with a mix of industry experience and creative talent that we hope will lead to a diverse range of self published works that will span all of our favourite genres and settings. 

Having spent years talking about all of the projects we could work on together, we finally decided to just go for it with our upcoming adventure books One Room One Shots.

One Room One Shots is a collection of adventures themed around a single room or structure. There are no complex castles or labyrinthine dungeons for players to get lost in, just a single location. 

That means you can dive into the adventure in a single session with little to no prep - perfect for giving new players a taste of the game, or for that legendary night when everyone in your party is finally free, but no-one has had time to plan more! 

The adventures themselves combine combat encounters, puzzles and role-playing that all tie into the theme of the room. Each adventure contains unique lore that can be adapted to fit into any campaign you are currently running, or with a robust Expanding the Adventure chapter included within, convert the one shot into an epic mini campaign!

Having just finished our first ever Kickstarter, we are in the process of producing these amazing books, but we will be selling special play-test packs for two of the adventures as well as our One Hour Encounter booklets at our stand.
