Chorogaiden
Chorogaiden is a Japanese Horror sandbox ttrpg designed to be played over 3-5 sessions. Investigators take part in the Weaver's very own J-Horror movies, inspired by the likes of ito junji or Takashi Miike, trying to solve a mystery based all in a single small location, a tiny rural Japanese town. As they do and roll dice with a push your lock pool mechanic, eyes of creatures beyond watch them, increasing the danger throughout the town if certain numbers are rolled. A success now, could mean danger later if the 8 they roll is on the Eyescape. The book itself is full of strange crunchy art, inspired by PC98 Japanese Horror games and created using a physical Gameboy camera. The book is a full guide for both Weaver and players, however there is a short single player game at the back door the Weaver to use and create their own town as they play as the Eyes, corrupting a neighborhood.
