Game publisher of Don Quixote, Moby Dick and Behemoth: Rise of Shadow!
Llamascape Games is a small board game studio out of London, UK.
We believe board games stand apart from other activities and even video games. There is something magical in the experience of sitting at a table with some new or old friends, and having fun.
Our designs aim to create an immersive gaming time, that you explore different feelings and experience.
This is the philosophy behind our innovative Book in a Box game series, that let player experience feelings and emotions out of masterpiece novels from the past. In 2024, we released Don Quixote: The Ingenious Hidalgo (2-6 players, competitive, 20min). For 2025, we are pleased to announce Moby Dick: Wrath of the Seas(1-6 players, semi-coop, 60min), which will be available to be demoed at our stand.
We are also working on a bigger game called Behemoth: Rise of Shadow (1-5 players, co-op, 2h), scheduled for crowdfunding in 2026.

Don Quixote: The Ingenious Hidalgo
Recreate Don Quixote's story, surprise other players and become the most influential narrator
Game snapshot: 2 to 6 players | 20 minutes | simple ruleset
Experience: devious strategies, bold decisions, some whimsical moments and a dash of chaos.
Based on the famous novel from Miguel de Cervantes, Don Quixote: The Ingenious Hidalgo is a fast game of wit and strategy.
Each round, the ingenious Don Quixote will head for a new adventure, and players vote simultaneously on whether to help him or not. Success in an adventure means Don Quixote progresses on his quest towards glory or love, while failure increases his delusion.
The twist: the more the knight progresses in one track, the more valuable your contributions to that track are, in a set collection mechanics where sets change value dynamically.

Moby Dick: Wrath of the Seas
Game snapshot: 1 to 6 players | 45 minutes | medium complexity
Experience: thrill of adventure, feeling of obsession and vendetta, sense of fear and fascination when facing the unknown.
In this asymmetric strategy game, players take on the roles of either the legendary white whale Moby Dick, or the daring crew of a whaleboat.
As Moby Dick, you control the mighty white whale and other whales appearing in the ocean, by placing nature dice on your board.
You score points by guiding whales safely to feeding grounds and by killing whaleboats. Moby Dick alternates between lurking beneath the waves and emerging dramatically, leaving the crew to deduce the whale's location.
As the crew, you impersonate one of the whaleboat chiefs (boatsteerer): Captain Ahab, Starbuck, Stubb and Flask. Each of them has their personal style, which is reflected in different character boards.
All of them, are on a mission to hunt to hunt whales and Moby Dick! Crew uses bag building to move through dangerous waters and ride currents, all while trying to keep the boat steady and escape the white whale’s attacks.
Will you harness the power of the ocean as Moby Dick, or brave the waves as the relentless whaleboat crew? The hunt is on!
