Games Design teaches you the key technical and creative skills needed to produce indie video games for computer, mobile and console and tabletop games.

You’ll get a hands-on introduction to game engines, including GameMaker Studio, Unity and Ren'Py. You'll also study design and development processes, and learn about the relationships between players, the games industry, and broader culture.

The course is taught in the Daphne Oram building, our exciting Creative Arts facility, where you’ll have access to all the software and tools necessary to produce innovative indie games.
