Search for the Sunken City of Volturiana

Ancient tales tell of a city that dominated the world with it's magical powers, advanced society & ruthless armadas. That was Volturiana, the shining apex of civilisation. Yet for some reason it did not survive. The most prevalent stories say that the citizens arrogance angered the Gods and they were struck down in their pride, to sink into the Ocean depths; some stories say that an experiment of terrible, and magnificent power, ran rampant and ripped the city from this realm into.…who knows where, and yet others say that the city never truly existed.

Your group, having worked together on previous jobs and made a name for yourselves, have been called upon by Archduke Villivetrie, ruler of the coastal city of Tolannia. It would seem that he has acquired a map that supposedly leads to the last known location of the lost city and is eager to see if it is true or not. Knowing of your reputation, and wishing to keep it ‘off the books’ so to speak, he has hired you to investigate the veracity of this document, find the city and retrieve the Leviathan's Sea Pearl, a fabled relic that sits at the centre of the Council Chambers of the city. 

Whether or not you are the only ones with this information, or if the city does indeed exist…….is for you to discover.

This is a D&D5e game that is open to players of all experience or none. We all work together to create and enjoyable atmosphere and have a kick-ass game. There will be elements of Combat, Exploration and Role-Playing. I will provide characters for you to choose from and writing utensils for the sheets. Bring your own dice but I will have some spares if needed by any of you.

When it comes to the game, I encourage you all to full embody your characters and have fun with them. Whether that's accents, movements & gestures or the occasional slogan feel free to experiment. On the other side of that please don't feel pressured to commit. Ultimately, play how you feel comfortable playing.
