Adventures in Anytown!

Welcome to the world of Steve Jackson Games classic RPG, Toon! The wacky world of cartoons, where the laws of physics don't always apply, and any Toon (be they human, animal or sentient object) can be a space pilot, pirate, superhero, evil genius… let your ideas run free!

The session will include character creation; you can be ANYTHING YOU WANT in Toon, so bring your ideas and the GM (known as The Animator) will help you work that into a character you can play in the session - think about what you are, what you are good or bad at, and simple motivations (a mouse might want cheese, while a cat wants to catch that mouse!). That said, some pre-made characters will be available if you want to use one. 

Toon (First Edition) uses two D6, and dice will be provided if you need them, so just bring your imagination and you'll be ready to play.

The session will be suitable for absolute beginners to Toon as well, with guided character creation, plus a one-shot cartoon (or more, if time permits!).

Note that at time of writing, a Toon Second Edition has just been announced, which is crowdfunded and not due to release until December 2026, so this session will be Toon First Edition, although some information on the upcoming Toon Second Edition will be included.
