None expects the Adeptus Soritus

A strange signal has crossed the scanners of the local Adeptus Soritus chatter house based on a out of the way mining world, the Mother Soupier has asked that the 6 of you to investigate and see if this signal is either alien, heretic or something else entirely.  The mine where the signal came from has been closed off by the owner who is insisting there is nothing dangerous down there, what is he hiding and is he really trustworthy.
