London, 1858 A.D., we have crafted a masterplan to bring India into The British Imperial orbit under Queen Victoria. Power would shift away from the traditionalists at Allahabad. Our eldritch pact brought prosperity to our family for decades. What we could not know was the price that would cost future generations. London and New Delhi, 1958, we sift through the library of our ancestors looking for clues as to why our family fortunes dwindle with each new generation, and not just financial, but our current health and mental sanity seems compromised.
