Big news from the inventors of Carrooka!

Five years ago, following a successful kickstarter, we (nervously) launched Carrooka at UKGE and you blew us away! We never imagined our handmade wooden dexterity game would take off in the way it has. We’ve now made thousands of Carrooka boards which are enjoyed by people worldwide. We also recently, gained three licensed makers overseas and the revolution continues to grow!

BUT, on May31st 2026, we’ll be closing our workshop doors for production of our standard Carrooka boards. We (Jack and George) have loved every moment of crafting our flicking game, but it’s time to let others do the hard work. We’ll both still be managing Carrooka, but on reduced hours. Jack will be creating bespoke and beautiful specialist hardwood Carrooka boards and George will be continuing with promotion and supporting the licensees.

We will be at UKGE this year, with boards set up for you to play on stand 4-724; we’ll also give you some sneak peeks of some of our new work, and fill you all in on where you can order Carrooka boards from when we stop making them. BUT if you would like to get your flicking fingers on one of the last boards made in the UK by the designers themselves, please do not delay, we may not have stock left by the time we’re at UKGE.
