Barnsley Association of Tabletop Gamers

The Barnsley Association of Tabletop Gamers (BATG) is a vibrant, inclusive community with over 50 years of history in the heart of Barnsley. Operating from a dedicated venue (S70 2NT), we offer six large, purpose-built gaming tables, a comprehensive terrain collection, and an extensive board game library. Whether you’re into miniature games, board games, or role playing games, you’ll find a friendly environment and worthy opponents. We welcome everyone from seasoned veterans to complete beginners, offering introductory sessions to help you get started. Join us for gaming and socialising every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday!

We are membership group, with your first visit for free, and then an introductory rate of £10 per months for your first three months to see if it's a good fit for you. After that, the regular price is £22.50 per month. 

Games are mainly booked in advance, although some sessions people do just jump on a game. It's best to drop us a email or massage on our socials as we will then know you're coming in and can save you a seat, or arrange you a game.
