MidCon

MidCon is a long-running, accessible and welcoming boardgaming convention held annually over one weekend in early November. 

The focus is very much on gaming, with around 250 attendees and a large area of gaming space spread over a number of rooms. There is also a first-hand games stall, as well as a large Bring and Buy, and a Saturday evening pub quiz. The event takes over the entire hotel, with accommodation both on-site at at a number of nearby alternative hotels.
