There are several areas that non UK exhibitors should look into as they plan to exhibit at the show.

Moving goods into and out of the UK

You should check with your own government and the UK government what the rules are on moving goods into the country.

Import goods into the UK: step by step

Trade with the UK as a business based in the EU

Procedure for bringing commercial goods into UK in baggage or small vehicle.

Some of the steps can be complicated so we advise that you make contact with one of these logistics companies who can arrange assistance with this process and advise you about it:

GAMESQUEST LTD Tel- +44 (0) 1730 891346 Email: fulfilment@shipquest. co.uk

Selling goods and VAT

Your should review the rules on VAT as you may have to register for VAT if you are an overseas seller who owns goods of any value that are located in the UK at the point of sale i.e. at the convention.

VAT and overseas goods sold directly to customers in the UK

Partnering with a UK Exhibitor.

There could be situations in which a none UK exhibitor may find approaching a UK exhibitor close to their stand sensible. By working with them the none UK exhibitor can be present and demonstrate their games but the UK based exhibitors could perhaps handle UK VAT, sales and other matters. UK Games Expo does not negotiate such arrangements and holds no responsibility for any issues that may arise but we are able to share the map and suggest some exhibitors to approach.
