The entrance to Hall 1 is a high traffic area. The sponsors receive several benefits including:

This allows you to place four pull up banners dimensions height 205cm max by 90cm width, at high profile locations around the Exhibition halls to promote your company or product. The exhibitor is responsible for the supply of the banners and UKGE will erect them. The location of placement is at the discretion of the organisers.

The open gaming space at UKGE seats over 2,000 gamers in either Hall 2 NEC or in the Hilton Hotel.
Gamers can indicate that they are looking for additional players for their games using tabletop signage.
• Your artwork to be used on all of the signs giving you brand exposure to thousands of gamers.
• Mention in an email covering sponsor’s.
• Logo on the sponsor page of the UKGE website and in the programme.

The staircases between Hall 1 and Hall 2 is one of the highest flow areas at UKGE. Three 1.0m x1.0m floor logos will be printed and placed at the top of the
staircase in Hall 2.

Lockable glass cabinets will be placed in high profile areas of the NEC. Your product can be placed in a dedicated cabinet and be seen by thousands of visitors.

UK Games Expo labels the streets and avenues of the exhibition hall. Benefits:
• One street or avenue named after your company or product.
• Your chosen street name will appear on the map of the hall.
• The street is physically labelled by several large signs on the floor up the length of the street.

UK Games Expo will print books of coupons which will be given out to visitors on arrival and available at several locations. The coupon can be used to drive
traffic to your stand promote a product and announce special offers.

Power at the NEC is supplied in two parts. A mains supply that brings a certain amount of power to your stand. Then that power is distributed to your stand via three pin UK sockets.

The NEC provides mains power as follows:-

• 6A Main (1500watts)
• 10A Main (2400watts)
• 16A Main (3800 watts)
• Larger options are available
  

Sockets are added by our event contractors at a price per socket

How much power do I need ?

Your power need will depend on what you plug in. All devices have a power rating in watts. Just add up the numbers of watts for each device to give you the size of main you will need.

How many Sockets do I need?

You must pay for install and testing of each socket ordered through UKGE but remember you can add extension sockets to your installed socket.

Can I share a main ?

You can share a main to save costs if the stands are on the same physical block. The power cannot cross an aisle.

You must arrange this with the other exhibitor, UKGE does not arrange this for you or split the costs on the invoice. One exhibitor must pay the mains cost and arrange to be reimbursed from the other exhibitor/s.

Other notes on power

The power is shut off 1 hour after the exhibition halls close so if you wish 24 hour power please contact us. 24 hour power adds a 20% surcharge.

The UKGE Gifted order function allows someone with a UKGE customer account to gift a complete order to another person.  That person will either have to have a current live UKGE account or create one before applying the Gifted order code.  The code has no monetary value but is a way of gifting any product that is sold via the UKGE website.  This includes, Entrance Tickets, Event Tickets and Merchandise.  It also allows companies that wish to give tickets as prizes a mechanism for distributing those prizes.

Please note that under NO circumstances can Gifted order codes be sold.  Any codes/orders that have deemed to be sold by UKGE will be cancelled and no refund will be offered.

Yes.  If the code has not been redeemed then a refund can be obtained via the normal refund process.  However once a code has been redeemed you cannot request a refund and the order will not be available in your order screen.

1. You place an order as normal through the UKGE website.
2. This order can be for any of the products and tickets that are currently on sale.
3. Ensure that you only put items in this order you wish to gift.
4. When you have placed the order log into your customer account and visit the orders page and click the order you wish to gift and then click the "Gift this order" button.
5. The following text followed by a code will be shown:
   This order can be gifted. Give this code to your recipient - they can enter it on the Redeem a Gift page to accept your gift.
6. The recipient can then redeem that code in their customer account and the order will transfer to them.

• Gifted orders cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.
• Gifted orders cannot be sold to any third parties. If gifted orders are deemed to have been sold then UK Games Expo Ltd will cancel the orders associated with that gift. No refund will be given.
• Refunds: If a Gifted order has not been REDEEMED then you may request a refund as normal through the the refund request button on your customer account page

In principle we are happy to give press passes to TV, radio, Print Media, Podcasts, online magazines and You Tube channels who cover gaming particularly Hobby Gaming.

What we ask of you is one or more of the following:
In advance of UKGE, tell your followers you are attending, talk about us, say what you are planning to do.

When at UKGE, post photos on social media and tell people what you are doing.

Afterwards, write up some article / video about your experience at UKGE.

And most importantly, please remember to tag us in any social media posts before, during, and after. Our hashtag is #UKGamesExpo whilst @ukgamesexpo finds us on social media.

Qualification for a Press Pass

Usually if you are a journalist for TV, radio, newspaper, magazine or online journal/podcast and wish to cover UK Games Expo you can apply for a Press Pass via our online application form. If we can run a non socially distanced show then this will be made available after June 2021. Please see the Press Page for more info.

If you are a media company wanting to sell your services to exhibitors there is a media charge to cover this. Please contact UKGE marketing to find out more.

How do I request a refund before the show?

Refunds are requested by logging into your customer account and visiting the orders page.

• Click on the order you want fully or partially refunded.
• The details of this order will be shown.
• Click on the "Refund" button below the order you want refunded.
• You can request a complete refund or a partial refund.
• Follow the refund instructions on that page.

Refunds are processed automatically and we do not require a reason for the refund. We understand "life happens" and you may not be able to attend.

If an Attendee buys tickets online, but then discovers that he will be unable to attend, a refund of the purchase price may be obtained by requesting a cancellation provided that the application is received by midnight on the Thursday immediately preceding the event. If an request is sent after this day no refund will be made.

I have tried the "refund request" but still do not have a refund what should I do?

Your refund may not appear in your bank until 10 working days after we have refunded it. It is usually much quicker than this but can take 10 days depending on your bank. If you have not had a refund after 10 working days the feel free to contact Tony Hyams.

Refunds are not accepted if requested after the show.

At the Show

If an Attendee has purchased an Event Ticket (other than for a miniatures’ tournament), but is then unable to participate in the tournament or role playing game for which he had bought an Event Ticket, he may present the Event Ticket to the admin desk and request a refund. Refunds will only be made if the admin desk manager in their absolute discretion considers that there is a reasonable chance that the Event Ticket could be re-sold. Therefore requests for a refund made within 4 hours of the start time are unlikely to be met.

We will not refund Entry tickets at the show.
