It has been a very difficult year for everyone and we are still hopeful that we can deliver a live show by the end of July. We are currently waiting for the outcome of the Events Research Programme which is due to report by June on how we can safely run a major event.
However, there are some things we can update you on now as these things will not change whatever the outcome of that review.
Firstly the Hilton Hotel has decided to close for refurbishment until September. This will have an impact on RPG's, open gaming and events. We are seeking other space but you can expect a reduced programme of these for 2021.
In addition, the NEC has only allowed us Halls 2 and 3 which will impact on Tournaments and the Bring and Buy. This year's show will be different but should be seen as a stepping stone back to where we were before Covid.
Looking ahead to next year we can confirm we have already secured Halls 1, 2 & 3, but this year we are working hard to put on the best show we can given the restrictions in place.
Hilton Closed for Refurbishment
The Hilton Hotel is closed until September.
If you have a hotel booking with the Hilton Metropole then please make sure you have checked your booking with them or your third party provider.

Changes for 2021
- Tickets: We will be sending out an update on tickets and tickets sales next week.
- No Bring & Buy: Due to space constraints there will be no Bring & Buy this year but it will return for 2022.
- Trade Hall: We will of course have many exhibitors running demos, selling and showing off games and accessories. We are already taking new bookings as well as confirming existing ones.
- Open Gaming: We will have open gaming tables at the show although we may have to introduce extra space and cleaning between groups using them.
- Events: There will be limited numbers of events this year. We will issue further updates regarding tournaments, seminars, roleplaying and live shows later in the spring.
- Vikings: These guys are open air and along with other cosplayers are confirmed for 2021.
