Magpie Games join as Associate Sponsor

In December 2019, Magpie Games announced its Associate Sponsorship for UK Games Expo. Despite the 2020 show’s cancellation, Magpie Games continued its partnership by participating in UK Games Expo Online with a Virtual Booth, demos for Wizard Kittens, and online RPG game sessions.
It is so exciting to announce that Magpie Games will join us as a new Associate Sponsor for 2022. In the last two years, they have made incredible strides developing new roleplaying game titles for the world to enjoy including Root: The Roleplaying Game, Urban Shadows 2nd Edition, and Avatar Legends: The Roleplaying Game.
When asked about why they are sponsoring UKGE and their plans for the show, this is what they said:
Magpie Games is thrilled to be an associate sponsor for UK Games Expo 2022. When we announced our sponsorship for UKGE 2020, we were so excited to join the UKGE community; two years later, we are still excited to attend our first ever international trade show! Our games have always had a strong fanbase and presence in the UK, and the team at UK Games Expo has been supportive in helping us attend every step of the way. We are eager to meet our UK and European fans in person for the first time.
It is with great pleasure to announce that we will have copies of Root: The Roleplaying Game to sell and demo at UK Games Expo! We cannot wait to showcase this wonderful game to convention goers. The Root RPG will be available for preorder on our webstore on December 15, 2021 and arrives in retail stores on January 26th, 2022.
In addition to Root: the RPG, we are also bringing some of our previous releases including Wizard Kittens, Zombie World, Bluebeard’s Bride, and Masks: A New Generation. Magpie Games has proudly been designing and publishing tabletop games since 2011 that continue to push the boundaries on design, innovative themes, and mechanics. We are looking forward to meeting everyone in the UKGE gaming community next year!
