Trade and Exhibitors

Friday Games day does not affect the main TWO DAY Trade show plans. All our exhibitors will be present on Saturday and Sunday at the Clarendon (but not friday). Friday Games day is about gamers playing games.

(Traders you may still set up Friday PM in the Clarendon which is separate from the Strathallan and will not have the general public in at that time)

Open Games and Roleplaying at the Strahallan Hotel

Our popular Gaming room at the Strathallan Hotel will now be available for even more gaming.

Opening Times:
10AM to late on Friday 5th.
5pm till late on on Saturday 6th. (After the main Clarendon Complex Trade halls close down.)

The Strathallan Games room at these times are for RPG and Open boardgaming/card gaming only.
(The Full trade show and all the Family Fun is only available at Clarendon Suites Saturday and Sunday day time)

If you arrive before 10pm Friday you can collect your tickets for the weekend to save you waiting in line on Saturday. If you arrive after 10pm Friday just collect your tickets on Saturday morning. You do not have to be a resident at the hotel to use this room.

Resturant and Bar
There is a resturant and a bar at the Strathallan Hotel. This year there is a Expo Specials Menu.

Overflow space in Quality Inn
If the Strathallan Hotel rooms are full you can find a table at the Quality Inn just accross the road. The room there is on the 5th Floor. The bar is on the ground floor so you will have to take drinks up with you.

RPG Sessions for Roleplayers

Roleplayers will be able to sign up to RPG sessions in advance via our online booking system and on the day via a sign up board in the Strathallan.

Boardgames - Open gaming room and board game library

This extends the popular Open Gaming room used by many gamers in previous years.

Just turn up and play or sign up for the combat commander tournament. JOhn Mclintock is running his combat commander tournament again this year on both Saturday and Sunday night.

New this year: Alessio Cavatore is running a Shuuro Tournament, and offering a playtest of Taranga - the 4 player version. Read more...

Also on Friday from 7pm Leo Marshall will be at the hotel and willing to play games of Lecardo. On Saturday he will offer the same in the Norfolk hotel.

Just like in 2009 there will be a Board Game Library. This will be based in the small room outside the Crammond Room. You can select a game from a range of old and new favourites and book the game out. You will have to show some form of ID and sign the game out. Games borrowed from the Library must be returned to it by 1 am both nights. They must not be taken off the premises.
