Exclusive Free RPG
We approached several games companies at the last Expo with the idea of producing a free RPG scenario for the players at this year's expo. We had very positive responses from several publishers but eventually agreed to work with Triple Ace Games. Our first idea of a system less scenario proved to be a difficult ask. Triple Ace's creative team kicked the idea around and came back to us saying that they weren't happy we would end up with something players would use. Basically you'd get a story and a bunch of headaches.
Robin Elliot phoned us and said they had an idea for a stand alone rpg using a rules set they had available, with a scenario added in. It would be a cut down rules set and would add a number of pages to the production, what did we think ? A completely free rpg with adventure - thanks very much is what we thought.
Although it's several months until the show, time to produce this kind of thing is already tight so we gave the go ahead and Robin has set the wheels in motion. We will bring you updates as we go along on how the production is going with a few sneak peeks so you can get an idea of what goes in to producing a commercial game... when it is done you can play it at the expo and RPG players will be getting a free copy to take away.

Leagues of Adventure: Ape Men and Dragons, is a free demo adventure booklet from Triple Ace Games for the forthcoming Leagues of Adventure, a roleplaying game of adventure and globetrotting exploration set in the late Victorian era. In Leagues of Adventure the characters are all Victorians who go on crazy adventures in response to wagers, invitations from adventuring leagues, because they’re bored, or because someone is paying them handsomely. There is plenty of opportunity to thwart dastardly, discover lost cities, mingle with new cultures, and plumb the darkest depths of the globe as well. This introductory adventure is a mixture of investigation and combat set entirely in London.
