Army Lists & Composition:
Army lists must be submitted to the Umpire by Saturday 29th May for checking. If you do not submit, or submit a late list, you will not be eligible to win any of the prizes.
Armies from the Late period from Fortress Europe, D-1, Bloody Omaha, Monty's Meatgrinder, Villers-Bocage, Cobra, and D-Day or any Official approved v2.0 Late-war Normandy related Intelligence Briefings from the Battlefront web site are allowed. No lists that are "Under-Review" on the web-site on or after May 28th . If in any doubt, please check with umpires.
Armies are to be 1500 points.
What format should I submit my list? - We can accept any of the following electronic formats: Text file, Word Document, Rich Text format, PDF file, Excel Spreadsheet, HTML or Army Builder v3.0 RST files.
Format and Rounds:
Mini-campaign style, three rounds.
Note: Players will be playing Axis versus Allies if at all possible.
If we cannot make it an Axis vs. Allies event then we will pre-draw the first round so that as many games as possible are Axis vs. Allies and then in Rounds 2 & 3 will use a Swiss chess system to ensure that as many games as possible are Axis vs Allies (For example the highest placed Axis player will play the highest placed Allied player, etc.).
Players participate in timed Swiss-format matches in which all players partake in every round.
Rounds last 2 1/2 hours for a 1500 points event. I5 minutes before the time expires the Judge will call "Last Round!" At the time this is called, players should complete their final turns. If the player that began the match has already finished his turn, then the second player should take his. The player who went first should not have more turns than his opponent.
Scoring:
A player's score in the tournament is based on Generalship only
Judging & Sportsmanship:
The objective of tournament play is for everyone to to have a good time. Players are expected to be courteous and patient with their opponents and the Judge. Players are expected to accept all rulings made by the Judge whether or not they agree. The Judge always has the final word on rules questions or debates, to keep the competition moving.
