Start and end times
The tournament will run in 2 sessions:

Location
The Strathallan Hotel gaming room.

Registration
You MUST have an UK Games Expo entry ticket for 3 days to play this event.

There is no charge for the tournament itself.

Registration for the tournament in advance is not required, but places are limited. To register in advance, email the GM. To register at the Expo, just grab the GM and let him know. You don't have to play a specified number of games, just as many as you wish. Registration will allow both you and your opponents to gain tournament points. Players need not bring copies of CC:E, CC:M, CC:P, etc. to participate, but it'd help.

Opponents
The GM will show you the list of registered players, but you should arrange your own matches.

Game etiquette
Games are not played in timed rounds, so players should play a game to conclusion, which avoids adjudication. Players are free to pick their opponents mutually, however, let’s emphasize willingness to play with any available opponent to keep game play flowing along.

Rules and scenarios
Any and all published Combat Commander scenarios can be played. One player will choose the scenario, and the other player will have first choice as to which side they wish to play. The RSG should be used from CC:M and CC:P, as appropriate.

Scenario Reporting
Each player will be given a tournament sheet on which to record the name of each opponent, the scenario played, who played which side, and the results - win, loss, sudden death, surrender. At the conclusion of each game, report the basic information to the GM: the scenario, who won and who lost. Start up another match as quickly as you like with someone who is available! Eligible matches must start and finish during the tournament time window (above).

Scoring
Games will score tournament points (TP) as follows:

Total number of TP is your tournament ranking. Tiebreakers will be used as follows:

  1. Win/loss ratio.
  2. Surrrender/sudden death wins ratio.

Tournament winner
The winner will:

And remember: the only prize in CC@UK Expo'10 will be kudos, which everyone will share just for taking part in our British Combat Commander tournament. So game on and enjoy! ;)
