Bring and Buy

The Bring and Buy will be Open during Trade Hall Opening Hours.

Our Bring and Buy is the largest hobby games Bring and Buy at any UK games convention. Last year we turned over nearly £70,000 and donated £6,500 to charity largely from commis-sion taken on sales. The Bring and Buy is located in NEC Hall 1, and is open during Trade Hall opening hours.

The UK Games Expo Bring and Buy is entirely computerised.

How will it work?

Our bring and buy uses a computerised system. You must enter your lots to be sold via a UKGE account - no account - no sale.
This enables us to barcode every item and track what is sold to make the whole process quicker.

Entering your data

Notes:

If you have added your lots before the show booking in should be very quick, we have special label printers that will print 50+ labels a minute. So it should take as long as it takes to stick the labels on the goods.

You can enter your items intot the system via any web enabled device as it is simply done via the UKGE website.

Buying

Notes:

The shop layout should ensure more people can see more stuff at any one time and the space should be better used. As the goods are in categories it should make it easier for you to find stuff you are interested in rather than having to sift through boxes that have no interest for you.

Collecting - Booking Out

Cashing Out

If you wish you can cash out the current amount you have sold. Cashing out is different from booking out. It means that all unsold items remain on sale and you are paid what has been sold. You can only cash out after midday as during the morning it is usually busy booking items in.

Price changes

Once Booked In you can only change prices by going to the bring and buy and speaking to a member of staff. This is to ensure that a correct price label is generated for your item.
