Organisers
Players should adopt a friendly attitude towards their opponent and aim to enjoy each game. If a rule comes into dispute, you should first discuss the problem with your opponent with reference to your rulebooks. If you cannot come to an agreed conclusion, please ask one of the umpires to offer their advice.Due to time constraints, you should only ask an umpire to resolve a dispute if you want them tomake the final decision. Even if their decision is later proved wrong, the decision will stand. This rule is put in place to help maintain the flow of the battle and ensure all games come to completion.
The two umpires on the day are Leon Smith and Ross Hubbard.
Rules
A maximum of 20 players will each play 4 rounds against different opponents. Mission results will be recorded by the organisers and contribute towards determining your next opponent using the Swiss system, in an attempt to match players on their battlefield prowess for the day.Essentially, if you lose your first round, your next opponent will have also lost his.Scores will be awarded depending on the results of games as follows:
30 Win
10 Draw
1 Loss
0 Concede
VPs will be recorded to organise tied points at the end of the event
A note on models:
Non-GW miniatures can be used within your army as long as their appearance is in keeping with the Warhammer's style. If players have doubts about their models, they should check with the organisers prior to playing.Â
We reserve the right to refuse models we feel are unsuitable for use. WYSIWYG is required for all models to accuaretly display which weapons and wargear they have.Â
Since Forgeworld units are allowed to be used within your army, you may not use Forgeworld models to represent anything other than their intended unit to prevent confusion for other players.
All models should be fuly built and painted. Any models that do not meet this level may be removed by umpires at our discretion.
